We Want to Hear Your Family’s Story

Blog, On Writing, What I'm Thinking

One of the over-arching themes of my new book, On the Sickle’s Edge, is the theme of family stories and how they get passed down through the generations. In the run-up to the release of my book next January, I am hosting a Guest Blogger Campaign, and I’d like to hear from my readers on the theme: What’s YOUR Family Story? I invite you to write and submit your family’s story to be considered for publication on my blog.

I will select one story a week and post it on both my Facebook page and my website. Please indicate when you send in your story if you would like me to attach your name and location.

Submissions should be approximately 150-450 words in length. Please send submissions to taguek79@gmail.com, with “Family Story Submission” directly in the status of the email.

The topic for week one—to be submitted no later than Wednesday, August 24—is:

“Under what circumstances did your grandparents (or parents) come to the country where they live?”
